Wildlife photography of a Bull Elk bugling with cold breath vapor
Crisp mornings, bugling elk and changing colors are some of my favorite fall things. North American elk are the same species as the red deer of Europe. In Europe, the word “elk” is the name given to moose. Who knows why the early settlers chose such a confusing name for what the Shawnee call “wapiti”.
