Parading by Cindy Goeddel
Wildlife photography of a herd of African Bush Elephants marching to the watering hole
We waited expectantly and silently in our underground blind at a watering hole. We had seen jackal, eland, impala, giraffe, mongoose and lots of wonderful birds, but the favorite species had not made an appearance. It was now mid-morning, and we were packing up to leave, when out of the trees appeared a majestic herd parading to the watering hole. For over 30 minutes, we were able to watch them drink, swim, play and splash us with mud.
