Nile Crocodile
The Nile crocodile is native to freshwater habitats in Africa, where it is present in 26 countries. They are formidable predators and a mature adult is capable of preying on even the largest species of megafauna, including buffalo and wildebeest. They have a lifespan of 70-100 years and are capable of staying submerged for more than an hour.
