Fly like an Eagle by Cindy Goeddel
Wildlife photograph of a Bald Eagle as it flies against a stunning snowy forest background.
Snow draped conifers provide a stunning background for this majestic flying bald eagle. The thermally fed Yellowstone River provides open water in winter where bald eagles can hunt and feed on fish and waterfowl. Eagles are capable of flying at speeds up to 30 m.p.h. and can dive at speeds nearing 100 m.p.h.
