A lioness lies alert as her cub is perched across her back, its front legs draped securely over her side in a close, intimate moment.

A young lion cub sprawls comfortably across its mother’s back, paws draped over her side as if the world is perfectly safe from this perch. The cub’s ease and trust become the heart of the image, inviting the viewer to linger on a fleeting, tender stage of life in the wild.
