Wildlife photography of the Brown Bear called Grazer at the top of Brooks Falls with a fish jumping into her mouth.

Grazer is a beloved female brown bear who is one of most successful and skilled fisher of salmon at Brooks Falls. She fishes from the same location, and is patient and adept waiting for the fish to jump within easy reach.  She is fearless when it comes to defending her fishing spot and her cubs.  I think the terms “mother bear” and “don’t poke the bear” were inspired by Grazer.
