Normally hibernating in the snows of Winter, a late Spring snow storm and bright morning light make for a very unusual portrait setting for a young grizzly bear. Grizzly bears emerge from their dens when food sources like Winter-killed animals and early Spring vegetation become available. Males den later and emerge earlier than females, and Grizzly Bear cubs spend between 2½ to 3½ years with their mother before she chases them away in order to mate again.

All Goeddel Gallery’s fine art wildlife photography is signed and numbered. For added provenance, each includes a matching signed and numbered archival quality certificate of authenticity. We mail the certificate separately, white gloves included for proper handling.

Framing Options
Lumachrome acrylic prints are created specifically for impressive display with no external frame. Hidden on the back of the print, is a floating frame with a French cleat, allowing the piece stand off of the surface on which it is displayed.
However, if a more traditional look is desired, we also offer a striking 3 1/4” handmade natural wood frame from Roma Moulding in three colors – Charcoal Black, Cloud White, and Cocoa. When a frame is selected, a 3” liner is also included in white or black. The drop-down menus above will show how your art looks with or without framing.

Our limited edition acrylic prints ship in 4-6 weeks, and shipping is free within the lower 48 United States. Shipping charges to destinations outside the Lower 48 United States do apply and will be calculated when ordering.
